Joe Jones

Hi Gwen & WARF

We are finally home in Chilliwack, BC. We had quite the adventure getting back. Our car barely made it to Salem, Oregon where we had Shilo's family reunion. We stayed the weekend in a lovely retreat centre up in the woods, with Joe socializing easily with the 60+ people. We had to rent a uhaul to get all our outdoor gear we had stuffed into that little subaru home. We have now been home for just over a week, we found a house and move in on the 1st. It's amazing, fully fenced backyard, as promised! We are staying with Shilo's mom in the meantime, she has a Siamese cat and Joe is just perfect with the kitty!

He has really attached to Shilo, following him all through the house and will sit outside the bathroom door waiting for him. We have slimmed him down a bit, with lots of exercise, and he sleeps soundly for a good 8 hrs a night. He is NOT a morning dog, taking several hours to wake up, LOL! He runs with me and Shilo runs him on the mountain bike. Loves his Kong, and I have even got him into the water and he will now swim on his own!!! We give him a bath once a week, which he just tolerates, but loves feeling soft and clean afterwards...prancing, jumping, and smiling!

Just saw the Warf site and we are loving Ragan: if we only had more space!!!!! Shilo is the biggest suck when it comes to the dog, such a softy!!!!

Attached a few pics, they are from when we just brought him home to the cabin. More later once we move into our new home! Despite all these changes and moves, Joe is not showing any bad habits. He is just simply the most wonderful, smart, funny, cuddly, relaxed, curious, loving, and not to mention willful and stubborn dog. ;-) We love him so much! Thanks Gwen & Warf.

PS Please add us to your success stories!

Cheers
Dana
